radicle intervention
Radicle Intervention is an ephemeral, place-based installation repopulating Popejoy Plaza on the University of New Mexico campus with native grasses.
Once upon a time, grama, dropseed, galleta, muhly and sacaton grasses thrived here. Using local mud and indigenous grass seed, Radicle Intervention repopulates this now concrete space with imagery of the native grass species integral to the Albuquerque area drylands ecosystem.
