Grasses are wind-loving, or anemophilous plants. Rather than having a relationship with animal or insect pollinators they cast their pollen to the wind. What do the wind and the grasses whisper to each other during this exchange?

These images use stills from videos taken at plant scale and plant perspective in drylands grasslands, combined with notations transposed from orchestral music scores written by my grandfather. These notations speak to a space that is active but not quantified, just as is the possible conversation between grass and sky.
